Red Dresses and Toys
I woke up this morning and although I was a bit hungover from last night, I felt GREAT!
Today is day ONE of my two week vacation. Now, I know that I would have had Saturday off of work regardless, but it still feels great to wake up when I want to and know that I will have two weeks worth of these days. It is borderline AMAZING!
I'm not going to waste it either...
So far, since I got off work last night, I've finished 1/2 of the Red Dress Run last night. Ran into an old friend and her husband randomly on the street, hugged them both, and hoped we'd get together soon. Danced into the wee hours of the night with some of my dearest friends and my sweetie. Well, he wasn't technically dancing, but he was there with me. Bought and donated toys to the Austin's Children's Shelter. Made a trip to the bank, a phone call to my sister-in-law, and am now about to buckle down and tackle some of my chores around the house.
This is going to be a great vacation!
